Battersea Park About 200 acres in extent. On the Surrey side of the River Thames in the Sw. District. one of the youngest of the London Parks ; there is every accommodation for cricketers, and boating may be indulged in on the Lake. it has a very pretty sub. tropical garden which no visitor should fail to see. |
