City of London The E. c. District of London practically comprises the City, and is under the rule of the Corporation of London, headed by the Lord Mayor, whose official residence is the Mansion House. The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the sights of London on Nov. 9th, and, although threatened as an institution, still seems to live. Probably the rule of the Corporation is over the wealthiest City in the world. |
