Curzon Street


Curzon Street is situated in Mayfair, a fashionable quarter, named from a fair being held there by grant of James Ii. ; used to commence on May 1st and last for fifteen days; was suppressed in 1708. The late Lord Beaconsfield died at his town house in this street (no. 19) on April 19th, 1881
