Gwynne


Gwynne (nell) was buried in the Crypt of St. Martin's Church, Trafalgar Square. She was acting at Drury Theatre in 1666 ; she lived at 79, Pall Mall, from 1670 to 1687, when she died. It is reported that it was by her influence that the. Chelsea Hospital for old soldiers was founded by Charles Ii. whose favourite she was.
