Harrow
Harrow (on The Hill) Noted for its great School, competing with Eton amongst the highest public Schools of England. Lord Byron, the poet, was a pupil here, and many other notable people, including the statesmen Peel and Palmerston. The spire of Harrow Church is very conspicuous to the surrounding country and especially from Hampstead Heath. trains from Euston and Metropolitan Railway from Baker Street. |
