Lincolns Inn Fields

Lincolns Inn Fields A Square adjoining Lincoln's Inn; at one time it was an open waste used for military exercises, public executions, etc. It measures the size of the base of one of the large pyramids in Egypt. William, Lord Russell, was beheaded here in 1683. It is now open freely to the public, tinder the London County Council, and is well patronised by the inhabitants of the overcrowded streets in the neighbourhood.
