Liverpool Street Station


Liverpool Street Station near Bishopsgate Street, is the terminus of the Great Eastern Railway. from here is a good service to the Continent via Harwich: to the Hook of Holland and Rotterdam daily, Sundays included, Antwerp every week day, Hamburg twice weekly, and Denmark three times a week; also the Cathedral route for American passengers, etc. , between Liverpool and London. It is called the Cathedral route because, at the same fares charged by the more direct routes, passengers are enabled to visit the Cathedrals of . manchester, Lincoln, Ely, and the University of Cam. bridge, and, at small additional expense, Peterborough and Norwich. This route is of great interest to Americans travelling from Liverpool to London or the Continent via Harwich.
