Marlow
Marlow (great), Buckinghamshire, is situated on left bank of the River Thames, 57 miles by rail from Paddington; by river it is 57 miles from London, and 54 miles from Oxford. It is a very favourite place for fishing, boating, and sketching excursions, etc. Within easy walking distance are Henley, Maidenhead, Wycombe, Cookham, etc. ; the Quarry Woods are within ten minutes' walk of Marlow Bridge. |
