Merchant Taylors Schools
Merchant Taylors Schools Charterhouse Square. one of the great public schools of London, now educates 500 boys, and is under the care and support of the Ancient Merchant Taylors Company, the master and members attending there on Speech Day (the Feast of St. Barnabas). Edmund Spenser, author of "the Faerie Queen," and Lord Clive were educated at the Merchant Taylor Company Schools. |
