Nell Gywnne


Nell Gywnne was buried in St. Martin's Church, Trafalgar Square. She acted at Drury lute Theatre in 1666 she lived at 79, Pall Mali, from 1670, ninth died here in 1687. It is said that it was under her influence that Charles Ii. founded Chelsea Hospital for old soldiers.
