Regents Canal
Regents Canal commences at Limehouse, runs north to Victoria Park, then turns to the west and skirts Regent's Pa k. finally joining the Canal at Paddington. Regent's Park is about 370 acres in extent; it takes its name from the Prince Regent, afterwards George Iv. The Zoological Gardens are situated at the north part of the Park, and in the centre are the Royal Botanical Gardens. |
