Savoy (the)


Savoy (the) in the Strand, was a palace on the side of the Thames, built in 1245. The Savoy Chapel stands on part of the site, being erected in 1511 It is attached to the Duchy of Lancaster. Sunday services, 10. 15 and 11. 30 am. , and 4. 0 and 7. 0 p. m.
