Savoy Theatre

Savoy Theatre is entered from the Strand, being adjacent to the Savoy Hotel. It is noted as being the home, since 1881 of the delightful operatic productions of Gilbert and Sullivan, and it would be difficult to point out any other theatre, which has had a greater success than the Savoy.

Even now that the author and composer have ceased to collaborate, the reproduction of the old operas, "h. m. s. Pinafore," "the Sorcerer," "the Gondoliers," etc. , never ceases to attract. Mr. D'oyly Carte is the Manager.
