About The Barbican
Situated within the impressive Barbican Centre, the Barbican Art Gallery presents a mix of photography, fine art, design and architecture from leading designers and artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. A smaller horseshoe shaped gallery - "the Curve" - houses more experimental works more suited to its distinctive architecture. Both galleries were recently redeveloped and extended and along with the Centre’s two theatres, three cinemas and concert hall provide a fantastic choice of world-class performing and visual arts to millions each year.
