About Chessington World of Adventures

Visit Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo for a day of exciting theme park thrills and animal encounters for the whole family.

Take the quick fire challenge on Tomb Blaster or brave Vampire, a fang-tastic flight of fright across the treetops. Embark on a foam-ball firing frenzy in Dennis' Madhouse and take a spin on Dragon's Fury before moving to the Mystic East for a leisurely boat ride on Dragon Falls.

Chessington Zoo is more interactive than ever. Hear lions and tigers roar in the Trail of the Kings and go wild in the Monkey & Bird Garden and Creatures Features. Take a seat and watch the splash-tastic Sea Lion show and see penguins potter, monkeys chatter and spiders scurry as you make your way through Chessington Zoo.

If you want to take wild rides and thrilling animal adventures to the max we dare you to take the Chessington Challenge. Want to hold a tarantula? Reckon you can hold a milkshake…whilst riding a rollercoaster? If you're up for it - Chessington can make it happen, simply visit the Challenge section on www.chessington.com

From Bubbleworks to tiger cubs, Rameses Revenge to a Squirrel Monkey Walk Through Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo promises a hassle free, action packed family day out everyone will want to share.

The Madame Tussauds group have transformed the well known zoo into a theme park closer to Disney than nature. The zoo still exists, but much of it has been moved on in order to make way for the white knuckle rides, themed villages and burger joints.

Wander through the streets of Transylvania to locate The Vampire, a superb rollercoaster in which your car hangs like a bat from the tracks above. The bravest will head further up the sixty five acre park to Rameses Revenge, the park's latest.

There are numerous rides, a circus and plenty of places to stop and relax. Not nearly as slick as Disney, but as British theme parks go, it has much to offer.

Open March - November.
