The Victoria Embankment extends along the left bank of the Thames from Westminster and Blackfriars, and was constructed in 1870 by Sir Joseph Bazalgette. Cleopatra's Needle, Temple Gardens, good view of the River, Houses of Parliament, are among the attractions.
