Constable's Hampstead Guided Walk

The leafy North London village of Hampstead is celebrated as the home of artists, writers and intellectuals. This walk explores the beautiful eighteenth century streets that Constable knew well " he spent summers here with his family, eventually moving here permanently in 1827. The day begins with a talk on the history of Hampstead and a visit to the Constable Portraits exhibition and is then followed by a 90 minute walk in Hampstead. Travel to Hampstead is not included but the guide will accompany the group on the London Underground. Led by historian and Blue Badge Guide, Owen Joseph.
If attendees have tickets to collect please collect these from the ticket desk. Please then make your way to the Lecture Theatre for an introduction to the session followed by a visit to the exhibition. An official lunch break is not included in the day however attendees may avail themselves of a packed lunch (not provided) during comfort breaks that occur during the walk.
