Christopher Wren loved him, Isaac Newton loathed him and this genius of the seventeenth century, Robert Hooke, provoked intense loyalty, controversy, jealousy and hatred. His recently unearthed manuscript sold for £1 million in 2006. But was 'England's Leonardo' buried by another 'Da Vinci' plot? A tale of intrigue and betrayal, this new play by Siobhán Nicholas presents a living portrait of the natural philosopher Robert Hooke. Performed by Chris Barnes.
