The (Acoustic) Pretty Things

Event location: Eel Pie Club. Ongoing event.

Some have hailed The Pretty Things' acoustic performances at The Eel Pie Club as "the best ever!"  Original Pretty Thing, Phil May is on lead vocals, guitar and blues harp,  Dick Taylor (original Pretty Things, also an original Rolling Stone) is on acoustic, slide and lead guitar, and Frank Holland on acoustic, slide guitar, backing vocals and harp.

The Pretty Things were the 'Original Bad Boys of Rock' and their first 3 singles 'Rosalyn', 'Don't Bring Me Down' and 'Honey I Need' all made the charts.  The band then moved from rhythm n blues, through psychedelia, a rock opera, and heavy metal - and now again back to the music that made them famous - rhythm n blues.  The Pretty Things continue their evolution as an enduring musical force, having released 25 CDs, 2 dvd's and had 4 books written on them.

Support from talented young duo, The Malchicks.
