Diana's London Memorial Walk

Event location: The Celebrity Planet. Ongoing event.

A pop culture icon is celebrated in this nostalgic walking tour, that traces Diana's life through the London sites she made famous, and looks in-depth at Diana's all too brief life en route.

Even before her marriage to Prince Charles at St. Pauls Cathedral, Diana Spencer was a face on the London scene. She taught at an exclusive kindergarten in Kensington and hung around with a good time pack of Sloane Rangers. After her marriage, Diana, Princess of Wales, moved mainly in the more formal circles of the royal family but nevertheless still found time to pursue her other interests in the capital such as cinema going, ballet watching and of course, shopping!

Itinerary

The Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Playground, enjoyed by over 750,000 children each year, a fitting tribute for a Princess who loved children.

Kensington Palace, Dianas official home in London from the time of her wedding in 1981 until her death in 1997.

The Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Walk, described by Prime Minister Gordon Brown as 'one of the most magnificent urban parkland walks in the world.'

The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, symbolizing Diana's quality and openness.

Harrods, Europes largest department store, containing two memorials to Diana and Dodi Fayed.

Meeting Point - Please arrive in front of Caf Diana, 5 Wellington Terrace, London W2 4LW (nearest tube Notting Hill Gate), 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
