What is going on here?
The peculiar Professor Quantum has just arrived from the future at the quite ordinary bus stand outside the Grand Hotel on Northumberland Avenue, Trafalgar Square. The Professor's Incredible Time Bus; a Time Machine built with parts gathered across the ages from the Victorian era to the distant future and installed into a 1960's iconic London Routemaster, is now blackened from the general wear and tear of Vortexian time travel and the gathering of black hole star soot. With the addition of video cameras, tele-visual plasma screens and some super-dooper sub-woofers the Professor is all set up to guide you through the beating heart of London. So step onboard the Time Tour Bus as the chatty Professor reveals tales from various time travels and embark on a marvellous journey that explores the exciting History and future of London.
Professor Quantum's Magnificent Time Tour has been written to engage with all ages. The consultation for writing the script has involved working with local schools, charity's and Children's hospitals to ensure that the younger members of the audience are entertained. The script was designed with Key Stage 2 & 3 in mind and so a fun day for the family is also a great way to bring history to life. That is not to say Professor Quantum's Magnificent Time Tour is just for younger ones, far from it. Anybody with an interest in some of the stories that build the rich fabric of London will find the tour a unique way to access London's history.
