Charles Dickens' adored Christmas classic returns to London this festive season in a brand new adaption starring Academy Award-winner Jim Broadbent.

Adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow, writer of the long-running smash hit The 39 Steps, A Christmas Carol tells the story of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who scorns Christmas until he is visited by a mischievous group of spirits determined to show him the error of his ways.

Directed by the phenomenally inventive Phelim McDermott (Shockheaded Peter, Theatre of Blood), Artistic Director of Improbable and an Olivier Award-winner, this fantastic new play is overflowing with a cast of extraordinary characters and bags full of Christmas spirit. Broadbent's Scrooge will be accompanied by an exceptional group of performers who will bring Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit and so many others to life on a set designed by the celebrated Tom Pye (The Testament of Mary, The Death of Klinghoffer, The Low Road). With choreography by Toby Sedgwick (War Horse, The 39 Steps), sound by Gareth Fry and lighting by Peter Mumford, this archetypal story of greed, ghosts and redemption has never been such a dazzling affair.

Playing at the Noel Coward Theatre on London's glittering West End these Christmas holidays don't miss your chance to get swept up in the magic of A Christmas Carol. Book tickets for the whole family today.
