How The Other Half Loves

Event location: Theatre Royal Haymarket. Ongoing event.

Alan Ayckbourn's comedy of matrimonial mishaps, receives its first major West End revival for over 20 years.

As Bob and Fiona clumsily try to cover up their affair, their spouses' intervention only adds to the confusion. William and Mary Featherstone become hopelessly stuck in the middle, falsely accused of adultery and with no idea as to how they've become involved. The plot crescendos to two disastrous dinner parties on successive nights, after which the future of all three couples seems in jeopardy¦

The all-star cast includes Olivier Award nominated stage and screen actor Nicholas Le Prevost opposite Jenny Seagrove, who has played lead roles in almost every West End playhouse and is best known for her role as 'QC Jo Mills' in ITV's Judge John Deed. Tamzin Outhwaite known for her numerous lead television roles such as 'Melanie Owen' in EastEnders and 'Rebecca Mitchell' in Hotel Babylon, stars opposite Jason Merrells - one of TV's most popular actors from roles in Lark Rise to Candleford, Cutting It and Waterloo Road. Joining them will be Matthew Cottle, from the BAFTA nominated Game On, and most recently seen in Ayckbourn's A Small Family Business at the National Theatre, opposite Gillian Wright, known for her award-winning role as 'Jean Slater' in EastEnders.

How The Other Half Loves, recognised as one of Ayckbourn's most treasured comedies plays at the Theatre Royal Haymarket for a limited run this spring, directed by Alan Strachan.
