Those who have dreamt of getting near enough to Robbie Williams to put a twinkle in his eye, now can, with Madame Tussauds latest interactive attraction. From May 25th Robster fans can get up close and personal with the ultimate pop showman as his new figure, complete with a mischievous "twinkle" in his eye, joins Madame Tussauds’ A-list celebrity area Blush. Following excessive man-handling from doting fans, Robbie’s old figure was removed last year. All the fondling, caressing and grabbing had left him worn out, ragged round the edges and in need of some tlc. So due to huge demand from visitors wanting more of Rob and to get as close as possible to the superstar, Madame Tussauds has made a new figure that visitors can really get cheek to cheek with. Guests can activate his twinkle, via hidden sensors, by giving the cheeky chappy a kiss on his cheek and if their puckering up skills meet Rob’s high standards they will be projected onto a giant plasma screen to his number one hit, ’She’s the one’. If you want to try your luck to make Robbie’s eye twinkle, then go along to Madame Tussauds from the 25th May 2005.
