You’ll feel as if you’re in Italy when you step through the door of this Lavender Hill restaurant, with its warm greeting, traditional decor, and the fabulous smells wafting out from the kitchen. There’s
an air of welcome informality here, and you’ll enjoy a pleasant, relaxed meal. There are daily specials, but the regular menu includes inventive Italian dishes like starter of clam and mussel soup with
olive oil, parsley and chilli, and classic main courses like fillet steak with green peppercorn sauce. There’s also a wood-burning oven and an irresistible choice of pizzas, including the portofino with
porcini mushrooms and truffle cream.
