About Beluga Restaurant & Bar

When Beluga opened on the former site of Citrus on Mount Street in Manchester city centre in 2003 it inspired much acclaim from critics and public alike. Happily, it continues to hit all the right notes to this day. Occupying two storeys of a Grade II listed building, the ground floor is an airy, buzzy bar- brasserie with cosy booths on one side. It opens early for coffee and breakfast and goes on to serve daily specials until late evening. In the basement is a dark, discreet restaurant with eye-catching suede seating. The dinner menu is a relatively familiar selection of pan-European dishes; delicious tapas on one end, champion steak burger and chunky house chips on the other. Superb service.
