This stunning focus of the local dining and drinking scene demonstrates once and for all that Leeds rocks. Set right in the heart of town, the restaurant is all about cutting-edge modern design, a floating mezzanine overlooks the buzzing bar, backed up by unobtrusive service and a wittily retro menu. The glassy courtyard is a haven of calm in the frantic city, while BedRoom, the late night bar, never seems to stop. Modern reworkings of favourite dishes from the 1970’s include, for instance, starter of prawn and avocado cocktail, tempura prawns with a tower of diced avocado and crisp parsnip. Same goes for ham and pineapple, chow mein, and all the others. Great vibe: young, smart and out to party. DJ at weekends. Bar has spirits by the bottle.
