Stressed? Searching? Or just fancy some food, a hubble-bubble pipe, didgerdoo concert, incense, spiritual music, Tibetan bowls, massage, then DJ spun techno? Enter the Spiritual Cafe. This unique place sprawls over the terrace of the Maritime Museum and offers relaxation and refreshment, as well as displays of all the above plus circus skills, choirs, tea, tarot, drinks, and good food. Young, fun, trendy crowd. Yinyang shaped tables and cushions inside, proper candlelit tables out. So informal you can really be yourself. The restaurant serves several menus, some of them vegetarian or spiritually balanced. Dishes include cream of parmesan with gnocchi and tapenade, wok-sauteed prawns and wedge clams with greens and yakisoba, tarte tatin.
