With a Scandinavian-inspired yet internationally influenced grill and brasserie menu and a great location near St Katherine’s Dock, The Ivory Grill & Brasserie is perfect if you’ve been sightseeing at the Tower or Tower Bridge and want a ’proper’ meal in relaxed surroundings. Formerly the home of The Aquarium Restaurant and focusing on quality meat, simply and beautifully prepared, this is certainly a step away from your everyday grills or steak joints. Start your meal with a dish of classic Scandinavian gravadlax with sweet dill mustard dressing and toasted German rye bread or head towards France with smoked duck breast with celeriac remoulade drizzled with hazelnut dressing. The grill menu offers sirloin, rib eye and fillet in three different sizes, cooked to your specifications and served with your choice of salsa or sauce. Classic deserts like creme brulee or toffee pudding with cinnamon ice cream will round off your meal nicely, as will a well thought-out wine list and friendly staff.
