The Glasgow outpost of the Zinc empire has fans of all ages, 30-somethings in the particular. Split into three sections, the most distinctive is the central bar with its funky kidney-shaped ’jube jube sofas’ in orange, pink and grey and an unusual waved wood ceiling. Looking out over the Princes Square shopping centre courtyard is a glass-roofed terrace, while at the back of the venue is a dining with good street views. Sharing a head chef with étain (its award-winning neighbour restaurant and Conran’s first UK destination restaurant outside London ), it focuses on fresh, inventive meals and grills, such as a grilled chili chicken bagel, and the frequently-ordered house cheese burger. .Zinc also features soundtracks from cool DJs and a strong selection cocktails. Brunch served from 10am to 5pm.
