About Astor Bar & Grill

Astor Bar and Grill is set in one of the most glamorous dining rooms in the entire London restaurant scene. Once the home of fabled Atlantic Bar and Grill, the Astor restaurant has retained both the remarkable Grade II listed Art Deco interior and the popular late license. The menu has entered new territory, which chef Philip, lately of Mirabelle, bases on the superb Manhattan and Chicago steakhouses, where the emphasis is entirely on well-hung meats classically prepared. Start light with frisee salad with garlic croutons, bacon and hard-boiled egg, then tuck in to gigantic grilled T-bone steak with garlic and herbs served with fat chips, and end with winter fruits in whisky gelee. Astor boasts a revolving display of visual art works from the likes of Grayson Perry & Damien Hirst, plus a schedule of DJs, live music and comedy to make the evening go on and on.
