About Vama

Voted the Best London Restaurant at The Carlton Awards, Vama - which means ’the essence of womanhood’ in Sanskrit has an exotic feel with rich, ocre walls adorned with oil paintings and Indian artifacts. It has acquired quite a following amongst the Chelsea set who appreciate its glamorous setting, excellent cooking and the buzzy atmosphere of a highly successful restaurant. What’s cooking: North West frontier cuisine. Signature dishes include baby lamb chops marinated in a yoghurt and cheese garlic paste, large tiger prawns in a white mustard and cashew sauce and a vegetarian option of spinach, peas and green fenugreek leaves.
Please note that on a Sunday there is a special buffet lunch
