About Le Vacherin

This classic French bistro continues to inspire enthusiastic praise. For chef-proprietor Malcom John's perfectionist cooking (he trained with the Savoy Group before moving on to St Quentin's and the Blue Bird private members club). For the very bistroness of it all - bistro chairs, strip mirrors, white linen, convivial atmosphere, charming service. And for the purity and quality of the produce. The classics are all here: escargots, steak tartare, chateaubriand, côte de bŒuf grille. Ditto desserts: crème brulee, ile flottante, tarte aux poires et glace vanille. And all of them affordable. Lucky, lucky Chiswick.
