About Clippers Restaurant and Bar
Something unique is happening at Clippers Gourmet Gallery. First, you help yourself to the gorgeous, mouthwatering starters, from smoked fish and terrines to salads and seafoods. Then, when you order your main course - and the specials change daily - it is prepared in full view in the central cooking gallery. As much fun as a cabaret! Wok-cooked dishes are sizzled on the spot from your own combination of ingredients. Vegetarians are particularly well-looked after, as the chef will discuss their requirements and create a dish to their taste. The ambience is informal and relaxed, the restaurant is filled with delicious sounds and aromas of cooking - great for couples, groups and families. The friendly service is a treat too.

A selection of smoked and cured fish, pates terrines, mousses.
A colouful array of simple and compound salads.
Freshly prepared soups - made daily using the finest ingredients and enhanced by fresh herbs, spices, cream or creme fraiche, served with fresh crusty bread
Main Course
A variety of stir-fries from mild spicy to hot! hot! hot! Marinated meats with piquant sauces, a perfectly cooked roast joint of the day.
Regular features include; rump steak, gammon steaks, various kebabs, lamb cutlets, Cajun chicken breasts, sea bass, halibut steaks and sea bass.
Vegetarians can choose from an array of dishes such as chargrilled polenta with garlic and wild mushrooms

Desserts include Tiramisu and lemon tart

Summer Promotion: A large glass of Pinot Grigio or Montepulciano D’Abruzzo-Marchesini (as much fun to drink as it is to pronunce) for the price of a standard glass (£3.95)
