One of the very finest and longest established restaurants in Oxford,
Maxwell’s celebrated its 21st anniversary last year. The all-American dining
experience is combined with their excellent cocktail bar and late night dancing, the whole deal! Maxwell’s has stayed true to its roots with affordable, great value food and an experience that cannot be beaten. Open daily for a relaxing lunch and every evening until late (2am Thurs - Sat with live music); Maxwell’s has to go on your list for a great night out.

- Caesar Salad, crisp romaine tossed with aged parmesan, croutons and our own creamy Caesar dressing. Add smoked chicken as an option
- Cajun chicken breast sandwich, with crispy bacon and cheddar.
- Steakhouse salad, dry rubbed steak barbequed and served with mixed green, avocado, corn, tomatoes and red onions.

- Peri peri chicken, full or half barbequed chicken marinated in fiery peri peri sauce served with Cajun fries and salad.
- Cajun blackened salmon fillet, seared salmon fillet with a loaded baked potato, seasonal vegetables and a roasted sweet corn tomato salsa
- Smoked hickory ribs, a half or full rack of our home smoked ribs with Cajun fries and creamy coleslaw.
- Herbed chicken and mash, marinated chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes
- Fillet steak, half pound of tender fillet with maxwell's steak sauce, caramelised onions, French fries and house salad

There is certainly an extensive range of drinks at the bar in Maxwell’s. If, for some reason you can’t see the drink you are looking for just ask the bartender and he will be happy to rustle it up for you. What’s more it’s Happy Hour daily from midday until 8.30pm - all cocktails are a fantastic £2.95...¬
...we particularly enjoyed The Three Mules cocktail a naughty international mix of vodka, rum and tequila and Maxwell’s Fury (vodka, rum, triple sec, kahlua, grand marnier, sours and cranberry). There is a great selection of bottled beers, a concise yet comprehensive wine selction and some fun shooters such as a Springbok, Raging Bull and a B54 to name but a few.
