Gees is housed in the most attractive of settings - A Victorian glasshouse and erstwhile florist’s shop. This is a unique place to eat -light airy romantic and sophisticated and rightly attracts a wide range of diners - Students, celebs, families, and business diners. The cuisine is Modern British/European and there is a good sized - but not too large menu.

With its loyal and varied clientele and stylish decor it’s easy to see why The White Horse describes their bar as ’Cool Britannia’. On offer is the usual selection of wines and spirits, as well as a few bottled beers, but the warm atmosphere makes this a great place for a drink before dinner.
