About DCH

Dean Court Restaurant is beautifully sited in the Victorian Dean Court Hotel bang opposite the soaring facade of York Minster. The clientele includes both residents and canny locals who appreciate the first class service and the mixture of modern and traditional British menu. The dining room is elegantly decorated with flowers, chandeliers, white linen and gleaming cutlery. The seasonally-changing menu includes starters like platter of home-cured seafoods with sweet potato and lime pickle or goats cheese, tomato and spinach tart. Among the mains, do try the marinated rump of lamb with tomato and garlic cous-cous, or the whole grilled Dover sole with shrimp, dill and lemon butter.
