The Knife and Cleaver is housed in a very pretty, airy Victorian conservatory and serves a constantly changing fish menu. The lunchtime clientele is business people and older, retired customers whilst evening diners tend to be thirtysomething couples out for a romantic dinner who want to linger over a good bottle of wine or champagne. The dark panelled bar with its open log fire is an ideal place to sit for pre or post dinner drinks and serves over 26 wines by the glass and a choice of 20 malt whiskies.
