Bank Birmingham
About Bank Birmingham

Leading the restaurant revolution in Birmingham, the award-winning Bank Birmingham has so many plus points that we find it difficult to list them all in these tiny reviews, but we can try. For starters, there’s the location in Brindleyplace, just right for the NIA and ICC, and close to the city centre. Then there’s the cool, modern décor and design, especially the terraces at the back overlooking the 19th-century canal. The wonderful food is literally at the heart of the restaurant - the kitchen is in full view behind glass windows. If liquid refreshment is what you have in mind, then order a Franklin (Baileys, coconut, Frangelico and cream with a splash of Jim Beam) in the bar which has a 1am license on Friday and Saturdays. Brunch is an added bonus at the weekends and children are welcome.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly and the cocktails are fantastic. On Fridays and Saturdays the bar stays open until 1am and there is a resident DJ playing a subtle mix of relaxed rare groove, new jazz and retro soul.
