About Fairuz
We already love Fairuz in its first location for the warmth and intimacy of its decor, the enthusiasm of the serving staff and, especially, the extremely high quality of the Lebanese cooking. Imagine our delight to find a second Fairuz to visit, and that it has the same warmth of welcome and service, and the same fabulous food. All the usual beloved mezze are here, from hommous kawarma, kibbeh, and jawaneh to kalaj and falafel, and you could easily make a feast of just mezze. But you’d miss out on the top-level charcoal grills and the specialities, like farouj musakman, grilled boneless chicken wrapped in bread with onions, pepper and special herbs which is then baked. The juices are freshly squeezed and the wine list the enemy of temperance.
