About Jim Thompson’s

To go through the doors at Jim Thompson’s is to enter the exotic world of the orient. Housing a lively Thai restaurant and bar, the timber and stone floors, rattan furniture, lacquered screens, the rich red and purple silks and diverse mix of Thai artefacts gives the feel of old Bangkok. Leave Winchmore Hill and instead step into a colourful bazaar style atmosphere of eastern promise. Large airy space full of Eastern artefacts - colourful wall hangings, lamps, masks and statues - all for sale and a lively crowd ready to swap meat and two veg for something altogether more exotic. What’s cooking? Five set menus from £15.95 to £22.95 including favourites such as Bangkok’s famous green chicken curry and Thai green and Vietnamese Thit Ga Xoa. Sophisticated kids can try something from the Junior Jim’s Menu - Malaysian chicken satay will make a change from chicken nuggets.
