About Allium

When you’re Anton Edelmann and you’ve won every award going and brought The Savoy kitchens to dizzying heights of excellence - what’s next? The answer is Allium, a new venture for Edelmann that’s a return to his culinary roots. This high-end dining room with its luxurious modern decor is the right setting for Chef Patron Edelmann’s ambitious European menu. And he has found the perfect partner in Head Chef Peter Woods, a fast-rising star of the kitchen who has already won plaudits at La Tante Claire and the Belvedere. Set in the elegant Dolphin Square complex, a favourite haunt of politicos and establishment celebs, Allium offers fine dining in a modern context. The menu offers intense flavours in dishes like starter of tart with pan-roasted foie gras or oxtail tortellini with celeriac confit and its own jus, main course of rump of lamb with black olive crust, braised neck and confit shoulder with rosemary jus, and pud of orange and chocolate souffle. Wines are a fine match to the food and the service is right on the mark.
