Bacio

About Bacio

Voted Best New Comer 2003 by Tatler, this sophisticated modern Italian restaurant on the King's Road set is forever buzzing with regulars charmed by the effusive and charismatic manager, Lucky. With his all-Italian staff, he looks after everyone, including celebrity regulars Rory Bremner, Dame Judi Dench, and the hat-loving Jay Kay, who's partial to the calamari. They say the main attraction is the atmosphere, but the food is worth a serious mention too: specialities are Welsh lamb, superb fresh fish and home made pasta. Everything is enjoyed in an arty atmosphere (walls are adorned with paintings by Mrs Lucky and friends) of conviviality. In summer, a sprinkling of tables are set on the pavement for some close-up posh people watching.
