The grand Victoria Jolly Hotel St Ermins contains the Crystal Room Restaurant, which has all the characteristics of Edwardian London, grandeur, decorative vitality, fine proportion, and a clear reverence for tradition. The soaring, vaulted ceilings, the panelled walls, the original artwork, the hushed carpets all combine to make this a very comfortable and impressive dining room. The food is part of the British tradition: the buffet 'carvery'. This is the place to enjoy beautifully hung and roasted meats with all the accompaniments, then to either settle into a fireside seat in the Caxton Bar with a glass of port, or set off for sightseeing in the Westminster area where royal and government London attractions and buildings, are at your doorstep.
