Last year I lost my identity somehow and the help I received from the helpline was second to none. However, after filling in numerous forms I did not hear anything at all. It must have been easy to trace the recipient of a bed bought on my account and also 2 taxi companies in London who also used it.

I have also written twice now to Lloyds TSB,once to my local branch and another to the call centre regarding the cancellation of a standing order but the payment was still taken out.

I have had a Lloyds TSB a/c for 46 years and never had trouble before. Now it seems my debit card has been block by security and although I received assurances that it was now ok to use 3 hours ago it has still not been reinstated. What a way to run things, no wonder this country is going to the dogs.

This would never have happened in my days as a Barclay girl..
