I started school here in 1947,sister Marie was our head teacher along with sister John. While at the school Bishop Brown lived in the adjoining house until he died. Not sure of the year but i know he was buried in the side chapel within the main church.I have been writing the story of my schooldays for my children and grandchildren, would like to get a photo of where he lay to prove he was buried there, i have a photo of the outside,it would give more meaning to my story as the people i mention above played a big part in my early days there. We were still part of the school when we were seniors but we were sent to Wallnut tree walk school in Lambeth Walk. This was due to lack of space at St Annes. If any kind person could send me this photo it would complete my story..
