"Thank god I'm not dying ..."

I'm terribly frustrated with this surgery. Apparently doctors' surgeries around the UK are now offering an out of hours service. Maybe Bermondsey doesn't count? If you ring this surgery you will find they are open pretty much 9 - 5, Monday to Friday so if you work long hours, you've had it. To get around this I ask for the next earliest available appointment (usually 9.15am) and am offered something roughly three weeks down the line.

Oh, and if you ring at lunch time, they're on their lunch break so you'll get the answer machine and you have to ring back.

Sad to say but thank heavens for BUPA ......
