Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to pass on my tears of joy after watching 'the lion from Harrods'

I bought up with my family,'Boy', who became firm friends with Christian, when I lived in Kenya with my father who was in the 2nd Battallion Scots Guards.I used to run home from school and took the two cubs, Boy and Girl, out for long walks most days and they both slept under my sister's and my bed. I had a very priveledged childhood from that point of view.

Your documentry was the first time I had seen Boy as an adult and I cried tears of joy seeing him grown into such a handsome male.

I have no pictures of Boy as an adult due to family problems in the past but this was brill to see Boy but felt very sad after he had to be shot, but from the documentary I found out it was not due to becoming wild but due to his wounds which had become infected which now makes sense to me.

John Rendall often emails me but I never knew how much of a friend Boy and Christian became.

I do not have a dvd recorder and wondered if it was possible for me to purchace a copy of the documentry as it would put a closure in my life with Boy and I would then be able to pass it down to my grandchildren.

Could you pass my congratulations onto the producer of the programm. My daughter had not seen any pictures of Boy as I do not have any of him as an adult and when she saw your documentary, she sobbed and sobbed as I did, we were very wet after the programm.

Thank you for your time

Regards

Jenny Walker.
