"Good beer, food and friendly staff"

Being close to The Tower ,Old Billingsgate fish market (now used as a major post film preview venue) and several othersightseeing locations, many a tourist has enjoyed the food and ale in this relatively small hostelry (ex bank). The local workforce are also to be seen here, sometimes in great numbers as during the warmer weather the paving area immediately outside can be used.
The staff are efficient friendly and welcome you with a warm smile.
Although slightly more expensive than some other local pubs it has a good atmosphere and a fair choice of beverages and the portions of food are good also.
For the sports fans it has Sky!
