I stayed at the Oakley Hotel in December last year. While the staff were wonderful, they were working under shocking conditions.
The doorbell was ringing at all hours of the night, waking them and other guests up, and we saw a mouse run under the front door.
The breakfast the girls served was lovely, however the rooms are in an appalling condition. Wallpaper is coming off the walls, and the pathetic job the plumber has done means toilet seats are waverng, and at times the toilet intslef doesn't look as though its attached to the wall.
All in all I would not recommend the Oakley Hotel to any would-be travellers. The place is a shambles and it appears the owner is too lazy to have it built properly.
